Well I didn't quite make the 2016 build of the year deadline, but I am not giving up on her. After a long break I have done a bit more.Depth charge racks fitted, rigged the davits, and life rafts painted. I also added some straps made from masking tape and wire rings. nightwisher attached the following image(s): Man he took his time in the sun Had a dream to understand A single grain of sand He gave birth to poetry But one day will cease to be Greet the last light of the library...We were here!

Been working on the dinghies trying to make them look a bit more boaty using evergreen plastic, hopefully will look okay under some paint. nightwisher attached the following image(s): Man he took his time in the sun Had a dream to understand A single grain of sand He gave birth to poetry But one day will cease to be Greet the last light of the library...We were here!

Thanks for all the lovely comments guys, very much appreciated. Wasn't happy with the kit flag lockers and life jacket rack so I scratch built my own, also wanted more splinter pads so carved a load from plasticard. The dinghies have had some paint thrown at them, they aren't fixed in place yet still need a bit more work. nightwisher attached the following image(s): Man he took his time in the sun Had a dream to understand A single grain of sand He gave birth to poetry But one day will cease to be Greet the last light of the library...We were here!

You are doing a fantastic job on this one. Its such a great kit but does need some skill to bring out the best in it and you certainly have that skill. Flag locker looks great and adds a nice spoash of colour to the build. Hope it continues well. Happy Modelling

Not really had time to do much, finally finished the dinghies and rigged them to the davits, the hardest bit was the grab ropes I also managed to get the winches done ,much easier. nightwisher attached the following image(s): Man he took his time in the sun Had a dream to understand A single grain of sand He gave birth to poetry But one day will cease to be Greet the last light of the library...We were here!
