And the same first car my hrother purchased.

We had relatives in branston in lincoln and he purchased it there.

Mum and dad drove back and we followed.

Remember we broke down in Stamford with the radiator overheating and a hose blowing - i think it was the thing that put me off ever wanting to learn to drive BigGrin

Its loverly but part of the charm of the original its the road noise and the low tech fun to drive car. if I had £50,000 to spend on a mini I would spend £20,000 on a really good classic one and then get a really good classic VW camper with the change
