I am new to subscribing to the lord nelson and I would like to find out if any one registers there issues or if you go with the free postage. I did ask if they go missing in the post would Deagostini replace and they said after an investigation, if the post office is to blame, they would replace. I post the orders for my business out daily and have no trouble with the post office but I was just wondering.

Pleasure Debbielee.

PS. I have to admit that I'm pretty fed-up with the subscription model as there seems to be no fixed dispatch date. As soon as I've got some time I'm going to see if my local CNA can keep the parts for me to collect weekly.

Hi Debbielee

Welcome to the RSA gang.

I have subscribed from the beginning (Sept 2010) without any real delivery problems the deliveries are normally the first week of the month.

I do not know how problems like we are having with incorrect parts being provide (part 31) will be handled by CNA.

I have also subscribed, and my issues have been pretty much on time. I am in Abu Dhabi now, getting home tomorrow morning, so will see what is waiting for me. When I left 2 months ago, I had just finished the first coat of paint on the launch. I started a scratch build of the aldebaran while I was away, to pass the time.

Cheers, have fun building.BigGrin

Hi Debbielee,

I chose to collect my issues from my local CNA. Myself and two colleagues decided to take on this build - they are subscribing and have had similar problems as posted on the forum. They received issue 18-22 today, CNA is on issue 30. Hope this helps.

Hi Guys

Newbie on the block. This is my first wood build, I am used to the plastic models. Built a number of fighter planes and ships of various scales.
As far the post office goes, have not had any problems although jacklin is out of stock on a number of occassions with certain issues but normally receive them on the following delivery. Happy building
