Martyn That looks really great. Its moved on at such a pace. The rigging looks really complicated to do but end results look top notch. Happy Modelling

 Happy Easter all  A small update on the Wasa The sails for the ship are a bit to white so experimented with some weak tea to stain one of them . It's slightly darkened it but not quite enough so will try again As a side line to the rigging I started planking the ships boat but once finished is huge and totally out of scale for the ship. I wish I tried it first on the deck  but never mind as the 1/10 model hasn't got one on the deck so not to bothered Next job putting the shrouds on the main mast and the back stays . The pulleys for the back stays where a bit naff so filled and redrilled the holes to make them look better All the shrouds have now been fixed so on to the fun of ratlines  Thanks for following rgd Martyn Martyn Ingram attached the following image(s): Building ?

Thanks for the comments Andy A bit more work on the Wasa I have finished the ratlines on the main mast and decided to put the main yard on as I will run out of room to fit it later In hindsight I should have fitted it earlier as it was a right pig to fit the parrels and the halyard between the shrouds  I have also fitted the down haul tackle  can't say why they would need this as I would have thought the weight of the yard and sail would have been enough but hayho Next up was the sail . I wanted it semi-furled to show the deck and the rigging so I added a second block for the bunt and clewlines then rigged it up and I am quite happy with the way it's turned out I will run the other sheets to the stern later on The Figurehead has been glued to the stem as it will be a pain to fit later with the bowsprit yards in the way That's all for now so thanks for looking and happy modelling Rgd Martyn Martyn Ingram attached the following image(s): Building ?

Martyn Another fantastic update. Just looking at the decks and must comment on how neat all of the guns look with the rope coils. They supply a decent figurehead in the kit by the looks of this one and your paint finish makes it look even more special. Happy Modelling
