Some advice please. For those opting for a "wood" finish the wales have already been stained. I am going with the painted version - can the wales be painted now?

hi spigs if u check out my build what i have done is given it 1 coat as i go, when it comes to the paint finish stage u have a dry seal on the wood to be able to fill and sand smooth with 240 grade paper or whatever u prefer,but yes you can paint your wales i cant see why not..also giving it a coat allows you to see what needs filling
