I was curious if anyone could help me to locate a good system for fiber optic lighting for the cocpit and landing lights and other areas I would like to light for the Millennium Falcon?

A very good day to you. Not building this kit but i think you do get some lighting with anyhow. If you do an internet search along the lines of "falcon fibre optic lighting kit" you should find some listings. I had a quick look and came across this one (please note this is an example and not an endorsement of either supplier or product) http://www.captainjacksm...CKPIT-LIGHTING-SET.html
The one above says designed for the deagostini kit. The website even shows how to install it. https://www.facebook.com/mf.lighting.kit/?fref=ts
And finally one of my favourite shops for all things lighting has to be http://www.culttvmanshop...ngElectronics_c_27.html
Hope this starts you off in the right place. Happy Modelling

HI snakescaledblade, welcome to the forum.I am forum support for USA.I hope you will consider posting a build diary on the forum.
There are lots of people making lighting sets for the Falcon. You can also buy LEds and control boards from many hobby websites. The one thing you want to be careful with is not altering the lighting board that comes with the kit or trying to add stuff to it because that will void getting replacement electronics from Deagostini if the board is damaged by the extra stuff plugged into it.

Thank you and I will, although I'm not a pro I have a job and am in school so things could be slow for me. I do things right but no I wasn't thinking of modding the actual kit just adding to it but it's good to know and I appreciate the advice. In fact I'm spending hours going through Episode V and making screen shots of every possible place you can see the falcon I also am going to be doing the same with IV, VI,and VII just for reference. I want to make it as close to authentic to Empire as possible. If anyone would like those photos please feel free to PM me and I would be glad to pass them along.

Hi, to save you a lot of time watching the films and taking screen shots, have you tried this website. It's already done for you. All 8 films. https://starwarsscreenca...urn-of-the-jedi-1983/84/Darren
