I wish there was a nicely detailed model of the RMS Titanic on the market. The best I could find was the Minicraft 1/350 version. But I've had to buy lots of upgrades for it. Like photoetch parts and scale wood decks.
Also what about a model of wreck version with a little rov beaming its lights across its service?

Hi, I know that I am brand new to this hobby so perhaps I don't understand the way of thinking but to me producing a model of the Titanic's wreck which is essentially a mass grave is just plain wrong and disrespectful to all those that perished on that fateful night, it's one thing to reproduce a scale model showing her in her glory but as a wreck..... no that's wrong, no one should profit from that. May.

It is a ship with beautiful lines. That mantua kit looks wonderful and what a great way of being able to buy it in smaller sized units. Happy Modelling

I totally agree that the wreck site should not be disturbed as it is a grave site and should be protected, unfortunately it is being increasingly pilfered. but making a model of the site I personally doth thinks disrespectful at all, although I understand you thoughts on it, to me its no different to making a model of a Viking longship or stone henge or making a movie about it there are several scratch built models on the net of the wreck. Just my opinion but I don't feel it is disrespectful to make a model of the wreck. I would say it is honouring them.
It's no different to James Cameron's movie that filmed the wreck. I thought it was amazing to see it and also honrable to those that lost their lives.
You can even buy wreck models to put in fish tanks.
