Thanks guys  On to the exhaust next, I used ak true metal as it can be polished to a shine The blue and bronzing to simulate heat was done with a brush and sponge and was a mix of AK bronze and Tamiya gloss blue and clear red thinned down. Cheers Steve stevie_o attached the following image(s):

Steve Very nicely done. Staining on the exhaust looks spot on and its not an easy thing to do but yours has come out looking brilliant. Happy Modelling

Thanks for the comments, Looking at it I'm not that happy with the lines I have masked to replicate the weld seams on the exhausts, I might do something about that yet. Cheers Steve

Really nice work with the heat effect Steve Is it just me or does the exhaust kind of look like a terminator arm when not on the bike

Making slow progress on this one. Got all the main bits made up and sprayed white, not shown in the pics but all ready for the blue paintwork now. Tail section / subframe is now in position with decals and a clear coat The black area on the underside of pic 5 is not a horrible paintjob, just my led lights reflecting  Steve stevie_o attached the following image(s):
