Hi, So it is my turn to have subscription issues I have not had a good morning so you may have to excuse the tone of this post / rant / let of steam / call it what you will first a little history... So in my last delivery there was a leaflet advertising that #5 was free with the first delivery I hadn't received this so I gave CS a quick call and was told that the term first delivery was in reference to the first full delivery of 4 issues and #5 would be with part of my next issue bundle - didn't overly believe that but I went with it anyway So on to this morning then, I was just about to leave on the school run when the postman brought a nice big black package, as he was so excited I let Charlie open it to have a quick look there were 2 issues and a binder which was strange but time was ticking so we had to go. Back at home I saw that they had sent me #8 and #9 with a note on the invoice that #10 was out of stock as I was expecting 5 - 9 I thought I'd best give CS a call - the first lady I spoke to was not very helpful at all in fact the phase "chocolate fireguard" came to mind so in the end I gave up and re-dialled in the hope I'd get to talk to someone that could help me. This time the lady I spoke to was slightly better, I was told that I'd already received 1 - 7 in my first two deliveries but if I want to re-order some issues I could. I pointed out that that was incorrect and asked to speak to her supervisor, I was put on hold and she return saying that she had been authorised to re-send me #6 which should be with me in the next 14 days - I let the re-send me bit slide and asked about the other issues - the reply was "are you missing other issues?" again I asked to speak to someone in authority. I was put though to another person who turn out not to be a supervisor I had just been passed over to his system but if I wanted to talk to his manager he could arrange a call back, I decided to give him a chance and went though the whole thing with him again, I must say that compared with the first two he was very helpful, he quickly confirmed that I had only received 1 - 4, the reason why I hadn't received #5 was because it is out of stock and he has no information as to when it will be available again, but he will send me #6 and #7 within 14 days and he couldn't explain the #10 out of stock message - at least someone at CS was helpful I suppose. So all that means is tonight I will have to tell my 8yo son that he can't build his R2 he's been looking forward to for the past few weeks and most likely all day whilst he's been at school, and as I haven't been given a date for #5 I can't even tell him when he can start again - Thanks Deag Rant over....... for now May.

what a pickle!! really sorry to hear you have been having so much trouble. i have called their CS a couple of times so far, and whilst they havent been the easiest to talk to, the issues i had were very quickly resolved. its a shame theyre running out of stock, it just shows how popular it has been. on another note, if it is of any help, there are a few fan based pages on facebook, and a few people have decided to give up ad sell all their copies on for face value. it may be a quicker way for you to get the bits you want for your lad, and if/when your copies arrive you could keep them as spares? Building: Ghostbusters Ecto-1, Ford GT40, Gone in 60 seconds Eleanor mustang, Shelby Cobra Complete: R2D2, Red Bull RB7 RC, Battleship Bismarck, Shelby GT500 'super snake'

Hi, The Saga continues..... This morning two packages arrived one contained issue #6 and the other contained issue #6 so I gave CS a call and pointed out that they had sent me 2 x #6 instead of 6 & 7. After checking my details she confirmed that 2 x 6 had been sent and couldn't explain why they hadn't sent me a #7 but she'll send me one out to arrive in 14 days. I'm guessing that the two operators that I spoke to last time both sent me a #6 but why didn't the last guy send me #7? She also confirmed that #5 is still out of stock I asked when they were expecting a delivery she was unable to say as Deagostini had yet to provide any information which in her own words, and I quote - "is unusual" - unquote This months delivery is due early next week so it would be interesting to see what they send me it should be 10 - 13 but we'll see....... May.

Hi, Thank you gents, I don't mind the wait it's the constant messing around and lack of information regarding #5 but as you say I'm sure they will get it sorted out, it doesn't help when Eaglemoss (DeLorean) and Hachette (Assassins Creed) are both giving me the run around as well at the same time. May.

Hi, Thank you Graeme, Yes I'm confidant that they will, it's just "one of those things" hopefully it will get sorted sooner rather than later so we can get back on track, May.

Sorry to hear of your subscription issues May. I've seen a couple of posts about missing / incorrect issues being sent. Or not as the case may be. I was initially missing issue 4 but was told that was due to it being out of stock and it did turn up with my next batch. My last batch was for issues 10 to 13, should have been 9 to 12. So I assume issue 9 wasn't in stock at the time and will be sent later on. Perhaps DeAgostini were surprised by the interest in this build and the success has meant a few issues missing here and there. Hopefully it will all be caught soon. Graham I was drowning my sorrows. But my sorrows they'd learned to swim.

Hi Graham, As it stands I'm missing #5 and #7 and this months order should have been with me last week but has yet to arrive. Looking around this forum and around the web, there does seem to be a fair bit of unrest with this collection with all kinds of issues being raised, for whatever reason(s) Deag just don't seem to have gotten it right with this one......but we'll see I'm not ready to join quit brigade yet but I am starting to wonder May.
