Like many, I suspect, I have a huge pile of untouched and 'in progress' models but not many finished ones. Of those, I don't have many pictures either. So I'm sorry that there isn't really much to look at at the moment.

Hopefully, this very thread will be the incitement to finish more of the models I have already started.

For the moment, however, here are some pictures of my Finemoulds TIE Fighter and TIE Interceptor, plus a couple of shots of one of Games Workshop's "Lord of the Rings" models from back when I did that sort of thing.

The cockpit ball of the fighter. Loved the detail in these kits, shame that once it's all together you don't see much of it.

The full fighter. I stuck the imperial troop to the base, and made a new nameplate decal out of a spare Iterceptor one I had so that they were more consistant.

The Interceptor.

And finally, that Mordor Troll.

The reason I don't finish more? That's easy. If I think I could do it at all better, I strip it down and start again. Most of the models I have made are either waiting for inspiration - mainly to overcome some perceived problem - or are consigned to the queue for treatment and re-paint.

I hope to overcome this and actually finish some thing this year. I'll probably let you guys know what it is so I have pressure to actually complete it.

Signed

The King of Procrastination.

Time is always an issue for me as well and i like you gave a number of part finished models on the go at the moment.

I am always amazed at the painting detail on those games workshop models and yours is really nice.
Happy Modelling

Really nice - where does 'meagre' fit in?

I too love the figure and I've been tempted to try one although I've never done white metal figs.
My problem is they're too small.

Now, if there were some in 1/8 or even 1/6 size...?

Same here I tried to get into miniature gaming but it's too small for my hands.

Nice work, I really like your troll paintwork. I also used to be into GW check out some of mine in the finished build gallery Page 11, some i bought from GW and some from a deagostini partwork and GW alliance (see what I did there).

Meagre because I've been modelling for 40 years, and this is all I have to show for it. The Troll is plastic, and about 56mm tall, it's a big model for a GW game. If you want 1/8th, Dragon do some very nice Avengers figures.

I'm just not one for finishing projects. Almost everything I do is modified in some way or another. The only OOB that I have done in years are the FM fighter and Interceptor.

I have so much that I start, come across a problem or modification that is needed, put it aside to think about it, and while I'm thinking, I've started another.

I have a large PL Seaview from "Voyage to the bottom of the Sea" and got the PE sets to go with it, then got stuck because one of the visible bulkheads is twisted, and the PE for the flying sub doesn't fit properly at the back wall/floor due to plastic to support the stand. Still haven't gotten around to doing anything more on that one.

Thanks to all for the kind words, it does encourage me to pick up on an old project or two Which you might see work progressing on as soon as the weather clears and I can get my airbrush out.
