Hi Chaps,

Just a quick tip for those of you who are
around issues 15-20. When you are putting
the decks in and it tells you to paint the
beams and the outside of the deck. Well,
my tip would be to not bother painting it at
this stage. Wait until you have sanded the
hull down ready for planking.

Because I have found that after sanding, the
area of black needs to be repainted anyway
cos of all the dust.

Thanks

Jim

Good point.

Can I also add that you don't make the mistake I made on the middle deck and paint the top of the beam as you will be gluing another piece to it latter on.

Thanks Gents, BigGrin

Unfortunately it is too late for me as I've already painted, but I was wondering whether to paint completely to the top of the beams
