A chance to win a copy of the "Anatomy of the Ship - The 44-gun Frigate USS Constitution" by Karl-Heinz Marquardt.
The internationally-acclaimed draftsman and author Karl-Heinz Marquardt worked closely with the team at the Constitution to ensure that the book is accurate and up-to-date in her 1812-1815 appearance. Dozens of photographs and some 250 perspective and 3-view drawings are included along with fully descriptive keys and a large-scale foldout plan on the reverse side of the jacket.
Now out of print, this 128 page hardback book is a valuable sought after reference source.

Please note: Competition entry is only open to Modelspace USS Constitution Subscribers - the winner must provide proof of Subscription for the USS Constitution. No cash alternative and only 1 prize on offer. The prize will be shipped worldwide.

Mr T, The kit has yet to be announced in the US (as of my writing this). As the competition is now live and open to all subscribers, how are we to handle this? Tom

Tom Firstly, you need to be the first member to post all five correct answers - the first correct entry will be deemed the winner.
USS Constitution will initially go on sale in the UK, then Germany then USA, Italy, Spain and France.
The prize will be shipped as soon as the winner has provided proof of subscription (from which ever country the USS Constitution is being offered for sale).
For example, if it is a USA winner, the book will not be shipped until the kit has gone on sale in the USA and the winner provided proof of subscription etc.
If after 1 month of the title having gone on sale in which ever country the winner resides in, and the winner not provided proof of subscription, then the second entry with all five correct answers will be deemed the winner by default.

Tom, Thank you for your reply. Now, will there be a time zone factor employed? When you post question 5, I will probably still be asleep. And look at Australia! After all, you blokes invented the Rules of Fair Play? Just enjoying the fun of the forum, that's all. Tom

Mr T,
How does the Forum base it's Date/Time notations of our messages? Is it ZULU? GMT with no compensation for local daylight savings or what? Just an observations from my postings. Thank you.

Tom As it happens, for the final question, timezone has been taken into consideration which does not apply to Australia as it's not going on sale there, which narrows the odds of you winning, though the final question could send you on a wild goose chase which should be fun enough for you
