The next step was to make a profile piece from 0.5mm plastic sheet. The important part of this is to get the inner edge to align correctly. The outer shape of this piece will be filed to match the saddle tank later. The attached photo shows the aft profile piece being test fitted. I then glued this piece to another sheet of 0.5mm plastic to give it strength and also provide relief to give the impression that the tank has depth to match the other saddle tank profiles along the U-boats length. Awesome detailing. Its going to be such a fantastic build when complete. I have been collecting this one for that "future date " when i have more time on my hands than i know what to do with as experience shows once these partworks are gone on the whole they are gone forever. I think i have 2 deliveries left on this one and will then see what else takes my fancy  Really enjoying watching your work on this one. Happy Modelling
