Hi All Added some more detail to the paddle boxes, the two upper platforms have been added along with the three steps each side these will have turned brass stanchion's added later in the build. I also added some lead sheet to the engine house's where the roof joins to the paddle boxes. More soon. Andy It gets better and better. Love these paddle wheel ships a lot and this is such a nice model by a maker i had never heard about ubtil you posted this. Happy Modelling

Hi All The upper hull, paddle boxes and inner bulwarks has now had three coats of varnish to match the lower hull. Whilst waiting for the Varnish to dry I started making up the deck furniture, The main parts consist of an inner ply former that is glued together then they are planked and sanded back, the two hatches you can see are ready for planking where as the sky lights are finished apart from the brass grills. The round houses are formed of pre cut scallops of white ply and teak ply and then planked. The winch is made up of pre-shaped parts and is a case of assembly after adding the notches to the central ratchet of the winch. The gratings were made up in the usual way and then the surrounds added. More soon.
