issue 5 is no fun at all, got two spokes in and crossed A on the bottom and B on the top, spoke A fitted perfect, B seemed slight too short. took them out, will move them slight to the left and see if they fit better.

Hi,

That's exactly what happened to me with the first set, 'B' seemed to short so I moved them to the right in my case, it was still a battle to push 'B' through the other spokes underneath but once though it fit perfectly.

May.

not at all happy with this build, got half way round and the other pins started popping off, it does not seem well thought out in my opinion, and the thought of another four wheels is making me think call this one a day.

Steve can you put a pic up as it may help present why you are having problems.

Okay, not to worry, have a look at the official build and the wheel tutorial as they may help.

Sorry your having some issues with the wheel.Crying

I found that fitting spokes at opposite sides of the wheel helped even out the pressure and things stayed in place. Don`t know if this will help going forward, but it`s an idea.Blink

To cheer you up a bit, congrats on your "Purple" medal for 1000 posts.

Sorry it`s a bit late, Blushing Blushing.

I've superglued the spokes to stop them popping out. Might be worth trying.😊

i think i will have to buy parts 4 and 5 again, just cannot get the superglue out of the wheel, tried a couple of solvents to no avail, so its back to the drawing board, will have to think about if i want to continue with this build, it really is not fun.Cursing

the first side went ok, thats why i superglued them in, but with all the pulling on the opposite side, a few had popped out, so i tried a couple of solvent removers so i could reset the pins but no joy.

Try contacting C/S, they should be able to advise and perhaps organise duplicates of issues 4 & 5 for you....
