Hi all Do not move whilst building H.M.S.Victory and do what I have done .as regards the build am just planking the upper deck and all the little packets that came with the ships wheel gratings cannons ships launch anchors and the list goes on the packers that came to pack everything away have (it would appear)ditched everything and to get back issues to bring it all up to date is going to cost £103.00 so i think the victory will be sstaying as a hulk i will paint the hull and use it as a prison ship and lock myself away I'm gutted so it looks a a start on the endeavour and see if I can make a cock of that

Hi Yorkieboy
What parts do you need
Some guys will have replaced parts thru personal choice etc
Is that £103 due to cost of back orders from Deag which will include the mags
As Jase says ships fittings can be obtained from model shops inc CMB
post the parts required sure all the guys on the forum will rally round & help out an old seadog like your self
Thats what we are all here for "when things go t*ts up

Make a claim from the house movers insurance, they contracted to move your contents from A to B and have not completed their part of the contract..

Hi Yorkieboy, I have a complete pack of bits from issue 45 which I can send (not the mag)so pm me about that
Cornwall Boats have very similar cannons and are very reasonably priced you could maybe use them throughout the build, and you can also buy packs of gratings there, any wood you need go to spmodels, they sell A/L packs of timber in all the sizes needed for the build and again are very cheap, the launch seems to be the big problem for you but maybe you could leave that for a while anyway, then look on e-bay in a few months you might see the issues you need just for the launch, don't give up
