Hi, And finally for this month..... Issue 8 Here we add the door panel, handles and trims. I very nearly got the two handles the wrong way around but luckily I noticed in time and was able to correct it and I also lost one of the screws but they provide a spare so I was ok. Leaving that aside I ended up with a beautiful looking door Thanks for dropping by May.

Hi, This months delivery arrived this morning featuring issues 9, 10, 11 and 12. Issue 9 Strangely enough the back rest of the seat was already attached to the seat base so all I had to do was attach the seat cushion. TBH I am a little disappointed with the back rest, first of all the stitching doesn't line up with the seat, the two vertical lines on the cushion aren't central to the arch stich line on the back rest there slightly to one side and no matter how I tried I just couldn't get it to look right. The link below is the picture of the seat from Spal's official diary and it shows the same finish as mine so it must just be how they've done it. http://forum.model-space...k/resource.ashx?a=90135
And secondly it's appearance is flat with very little padding when compared to the beautifully produced seat cushion. I did have the idea of padding it out with a little bit of stuffing but on closer inspection this wouldn't really be achievable without removing the leather cover first so I opted to play it safe leave it be......although I may very well return back to this at a later date when I'm feeling a little braver May MFG attached the following image(s):

Hi, Issue 10 Carburettor part 1 In this issue we start the Carburettor assembly which I assume is a very important part of the engine I did find that it was a bit easier to leave the shaft of the build whilst going through the rest of this months issues as it kept on falling back out again but apart from that all was well. Hi, Issue 11 Carburettor part 2, The petrol feed pipe (what ever that is ) looked a bit fiddly in the instructions but it actually went on easily enough and the rest of the tasks were fine to follow, although I did keep up with tradition and dropped a couple of the screws, it's a good job they provide spares May. Hi, Issue 12 Engine Block part 1, The magazine notes an option to paint the Block black and gold, I've decided not to do this as I haven't got the paint or brushes etc but also it looks awkward to do and I didn't want to mess it up, so again I'm playing it safe. As for the tasks I found it a bit easier to take the Air Cleaner installed in the last issue back of again whilst fixing the Carburettor to the Block but apart from that all was well Well that's all for this month, thanks for dropping by May.
