I have found the quality of the wood in nowhere as good as Victorys but so far I have had no problems with build and am happy with the way it is going.
Present Build:

H.M.S. Victory
H.M. Bark Endeavour

Hi Benny, like you i am collecting the parts and still not started the build, the quality i think is quite poor part of one of my decks was the wrong size and several of the strips are split, i am waiting each week to see if they improve especially as the packing is ropey to say the best. dont know how some of the more delicate pieces will stand up to this way of packaging.
current builds

victory,endeavour,thermoplye,constitution

i have learnt alot through the vic and as i am pleased with it i want the endeavour to be better,do you think a bit of money needs to be spent on planks and stuff for it to be a quality build or is it not that bad
cheers benny

hi benny,I think some upgrades will be neccessery,I have used walnut on the lower deck, and will be using it on the upper deck as well,I also think that this is a consructo model, and thier kits are a little bit iffy.I'm adjusting as I go along.btw issue 10 I had to send back damage was too bad to repair.so MY build has been delayed.
