Greetings I am a new kid on the block and would just like to say thanks to all those experts that posted suggestions and tips on the site. This is my first wood build and find it quite challenging. I have only started issue 20 and am way behind most of you athough, sometimes in SA feel very far behind. Mr.T your assitance on all the issues is of great help. I have built a few planes, helicopters and ships in plastic. Thanks once again, happy building. Welcome Hans! As jase said, hope you post a build diary! as it helps to show what you're doing and others can give you advice so you stay on a true course. Enjoy the build and ask if you need help or are unsure what to do.

Thanks for the words of encouragement, by all appearances will need plenty. Have no fear will ask plenty of questions finding it very different to plastic models. Allway's nice to see a new face, good to have you aboard. I'm new (or was when I joined this outfit)to this type of moddeling, and found out the hard way that nothing is obvious! take time to read the members advice on this forum before proceding, take your time, use sharp tools and your skills will grow a lot quicker than your Victory build! If I bought this kit at the shop I would have probably finished it by now but it would be a right old mess, being a 'part work' you have plenty of time to get your information and get it right before you move on to the next bit. Good luck and happy building, Jeff
