Here is my Bandai Salve 1 build.I didnt do a build diary. It is a quick and simple build.I did a bit of weathering with a wash and some silver dry brushing.
There are rumors of a studio scale Slave one kit being produced. Now that would be quite something!!!

So what did you think of the Bandai kit? I love them, but no Starwars ones for me. Just not into small kits anymore. Though I may grab the 1/48 X-Wing to go with the Falcon. Would love it if they made a 1/48 Tie Fighter.

DeAgostini kit builds:

Millennium Falcon: 18% Complete
Shelby GT-500: 28% Complete
Thunderbird 2: 13.75% Complete

thanks everyone,
Joel it was an eye opener building this kit.Bandais design and engineering are unlike any other kit manufacture I know. The parts breakdown is really odd and it just feels like a different way to build for me.Fit is excellent and the instructions are clear. They seem more like the snap fit kits rather than a glue together kit. I have the Falcon and a couple of other kits that I have yet to start.I think they are good for a quick build when you have builders fatigue from struggling with a kit (especially the resin kits).

Yeah that's why I always have some kits from them I like to build OOB. Nice stress free build is nice sometimes. They can still be challenging when you paint and mod them.

DeAgostini kit builds:

Millennium Falcon: 18% Complete
Shelby GT-500: 28% Complete
Thunderbird 2: 13.75% Complete
