Hi All This will be the diary of painting this figure quite a few challenges in doing this and hopefully will make a good job of it. This will not be a fast paint job so will take some time to finish it. A review of the kit can be seen here:-http://forum.model-space...spx?g=posts&t=23611 All the parts have been cleaned up washed and the figure assembled, the cape parts will be fitted later on as the painting progresses. He is not fixed to the base yet either again to enable painting of the part. Next its a couple of coats of undercoat. More soon. Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s):Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Great start Andy.Looks like you made short work of those seam mold lines. It is a heavy piece of resin and an impressive size. Are you going to airbrush or hand paint or both? What kinds of paint will you be using?

Tempted by this myself Andy but I don't think I could do it justice, paintwork looks way to hard. Look forward to see how you get on. Thanks for looking in and your comments everyone, The mould lines are the bain of all resin stuff and with application removed any detail lines lost can be worked back in with a panel lines scribing tool. Apart from the undercoat I will be mainly using Vallejo's 'Games' range of paint and maybe some other's. I had already seen the narin paint job on his figures but may go in a different direction. A great choice of subject Andy and though the painting of it will definitely be challenging, I'm sure you'll make a good job of it. Should be a stunning figure when finished.
 Watching this with great interest.
