This is exciting news!!!
Where would one start with more than a hundred years of some spectacular vehicles.
Road cars, Racing cars, Rally cars, custom cars, Concept cars, etc.
From the 1880 Benz Tri-Cycle to the June 25, 2011 Nürburgring 24 hour Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid.
I would love to build a highly detailed (better than Pocher, nudge, nudge, wink, wink, ...) 1:8 1963 Porsche 911 Classic.
Have a look at these: Collectible Models
Regards Jacques

Well as Kev has already said there are too many great cars to choose from, for me it has to be only one, a car that I got as a child in the form of a matchbox metal toy, a car that to me looks totally different from any other during the early 70's. JPS Lotus 72 nuff said

Ditto JPS Lotus 72..like Colin I also had the matchbox toy, used to love watching it do loop the loop on my hotwheels track...probably find it's worth a fortune now,it really does frustrate me when I see cars & toys I had as a kid being valued at £50 plus these days..if only I had known Rob Nolli Illigitimi Carborundum!!!Current Builds: HMS Victory, SV Thermopylae

I would sell my soul for a 1/8th scale Lotus 72D. Built the Tamiya 1/12th kit many years ago. What a car! Dave H
Current builds :- Hachette 1/16 Tiger Tank H.M.S Victory, Santisima Trinidad (Section), 1/8 scale Aston Martin DB5, 1/8 scale McLaren, YNWA

Hello everyone this Is my first post on this forum, I joined the forum because I have started building the Lewis Hamilton MP4-23 and I must say that I am impressed by the quality of this build. I WILL ALSO GO WITH THE JPS Lotus 72 AS I ALSO HAD A MACHBOX ONE THIS WOULD BE A VERY WELL DETAILD BUILD IF THE MP4-23 IS ANYTHING TO GO BY….. JPS Lotus 72 BUT! Now I am thinking about it I would also really like a 1:8 version of Ayrton Senna's Formula One JPS Lotus Renault 98T now that would be something. Ayrton Senna's Formula One JPS Lotus Renault 98T Thanks.

What about the le mans Aston Martin dbr,now that's an awesome looking racing car, or the mclaren f1 le mans, or the Ferrari 250 gto. I suppose it's just down to weather deagostini can get the licences to make the model from the manufacturer. Maybe to be able to make a list that can be used to make a choice of what model could or should be chosen next, we need to limit each persons choice to one car, I know it would be very hard to choose but your true fav would be out there up as an option.

I think the speed 8 would be an awsome choice, amazing model, amalgam have done one and it looks incredible, but very pricey, so come on deagostini get the balls rolling with what could be next.
