I'm doing this one as well May. I'm really enjoying it. The detail on the engine, which will be cover most of the time is amazing and makes me very hopeful for the future issues! Wayne's build videos are a great place for help if you need it Hi Ian, With no access to an official video build I think Wayne's channel is the next best thing, I just like the way he goes though each step live with no edit. May.

Hi, I worked on the next four issues 20, 21, 22 and 23 yesterday afternoon and this morning, here's what I got up to. Issue 20Intake Manifolds I found that pre-screwing the receiving holes of the intake manifolds (part 20D) made attaching them to the base (part 20C) a lot easier - well that made sense to me anyway May. Hi, Issue 21Cylinder Head Covers A/C Compressor Attaching the A/C Compressor was a bit of a trial, first I couldn't understand why my parts wouldn't fit onto the Cylinder Head but after awhile I realised I had put the bracket on the wrong way around with that sorted the next problem was that the two sections wouldn't line up so I played around with the four screws a bit, loosening them and then tightening them back up again until I had lined them up, took a while but I got there in the end May. Hi, Issue 22Mixture Control Unit Intake Manifolds Fuel Injectors I think that there has been more chatter online about this issue than the rest of the collection put together. The culprit for all of this attention is the supplied MM screw. The problem with this little guy is that the head has a habit of snapping of, there are loads of vids on youtube showing this and there are also loads of solutions as well. The most common one I've come across is to drill the hole out using a 1.5mm drill and then use a AM screw instead. But I don't have a 1.5mm drill so I had to do it the hard way, I took one of the spare AM screws and screwed it in until it would go no further, then I took it all the way back out again, then it was a case of "rinse and repeat" until the top of the screw had worn away at which point I swapped over to a new one. I carried on like this until the screw would go all the way in and then I swapped over to a new one again and attached the part shown in step 2 of the mag. In total I went through 4 screws but the job got done in the end I was having a hard time installing the Fuel Injectors and I was really cautious about losing them which didn't help with my shaky hands!! in the end I re-traced the steps backwards from step 10 to step 6 in the mag and then placed them on at stage 6 instead which was a lot easier and then I just simply screwed everything back again. Some people have chosen to shorted the hose's so that they "look better" but I've left mine as they are. There's no doubt about it this issue was a testy one for me but I won in the end May. Hi, Issue 23Distributor Dip Stick Transmission Bracket After the last issue this one went without a hitch, although the Dip Stick is really lose I may have to glue it in at some point. Well that's it for now, I've ordered the next four issues which will hopefully be with me by the weekend with any luck. Thanks for dropping in May. MFG attached the following image(s):

Hi, Clearly Eaglemoss were feeling very generous this week as not only was I able to buy 4 issues for the price of 3 but when they arrived yesterday (14/07/17) they had sent me 2 x 24, 2 x 25 and 2 x 26 and 3 x 27 !!! I checked with my bank account to make sure that they had only charged me for the 4 that I had ordered, which they had and then gave them a call. I don't know if it was the way I tried to explain the situation that they had sent me to many copies but the guy I spoke to just didn't seem to understand he kept on saying that he would arrange an another delivery which should be with me within 3 - 7 days, and then just as I thought he had understood what I was trying to tell him he offered me a refund or credit? - which of course I declined, after going round in circles for a while I gave up in the end. Well I tried to do the right thing and send them back but they don't seem to want to know. Anyway the kids are at their grandparents for the weekend so with the house to my self I worked through these next 4 issues. Issue 24 Pulleys The hardest thing about this issue for me anyway was trying to figure out which of the supplied parts went together! The problem is that some of the parts in the magazine don't really match the ones that are supplied, in the end I opted for a process of elimination approach using the illustration in step 11 as a starting point to identify the parts and then I just worked backwards. Once they had all be grouped together as they should be they were then installed onto the engine and then I reached for that glass of wine May. MFG attached the following image(s):

Hi, Issue 26Silencer Fixing the Engine to the Chassis Fixing the Track Rods The silencer went together nicely and was installed ok. Fixing the engine to the chassis though was another three handed job !! after struggling for a bit I change tactics, I didn't want to lay it upside down on the table as I thought it might get damaged so I used an unused car sponge to rest it on, with both hands free my life was suddenly a lot easier - I'm learning Then came the panic attack, I realised that I hadn't rescued the track rods from the bin  lucky for me I haven't gotten around to taking them to the skip (or recycle centre what ever you want to call it) yet and after rummaging though a few bags I found them just in case I had missed anything else I double checked with the earlier magazines again and it seems that I have all the parts - but then again I thought that last time May. Hi, Issue 27Horn Radiator Fans Mounting Brackets As far as the tasks in the issue goes everything went fine, the problem came when I decided to glue the dipstick in place which had been falling out all afternoon - this would have been much easier if I had done it before fixing the engine to the chassis, as it was, it was a bit of a pain to do, but it's in and fixed May.
