Applied buffing powder to test spoon sprayed with chrome and although it has shine my wife thinks it looks like pewter....what do you fellow modellers think? nick wells attached the following image(s):

Hi steve used zero chrome on the front bumper which required black base coat, one coat of clear and then zero chrome air brushed over....not to happy with the overall finish....i do have a spare front bumper which i will be airbrushing with Alclad chrome. On a happier note i have completed re-spray of front end and semi gloss black to the front grills....very happy with the finish nick wells attached the following image(s):

Lovely paint job Nick. Its a shame your first attempt at the chrome didn't come out so good, best of luck for the next attempt

still not sure abut the chrome finish, tempted to re-spray with Alclad looks a little more aggressive with darker chrome but not sure nick wells attached the following image(s):

Thanks for your positive comments...I will try Alclad chrome on the spare front bumper i have.....never worked with Alclad but willing to give it ago.

Hi nick I was thinking about changing the colour myself to Wimbledon White or Lime Gold but it's the gt500 decals on the wing's that stopping me
