Steve Very impressed with your paint finish. Its looking very nicely antiqued without going to far. Looks perfect. You must have put a lot of effort into researching this one and its paying off really well. Happy Modelling

Steve, Looks great. Your colors will be really interesting. And, you haven't even started the fun part yet; tassets, tassets, tassets ... Tom

Well done there Stevie! That's the most realistic bronze effect on to a painted surface I've seen! What exactly did you mean by saying that you 'dusted' the bronze paint on? (I haven't come across that range of paints before) Brilliant work! Robin. Thanks for looking in guys @Robin, the paint is from AK's true metal range and can be painted, or dabbed on with a very dry cloth and rubbed in. It can also be polished when dry Steve

Just a quick update on this, I have done the first of 11 tassets - not as neat as id like but I reckon they will get better each time, so this one is going to end up at the back of the armour As you can see the plates are finished in satin black with bronze highlights, the lower 2 plates are for a bit of colour Steve stevie_o attached the following image(s):

Hi Steve, i have to admit, this is a lovely variation on this kit! I think I like it better than OOB. And greetings from another horse owner :) But all mine are chestnuts or bay, with possibility of having a grey one born within two weeks :D Any images I post on my personal builds are free to be used and shared under Creative Commons Attribution license, which means you can do what you want with them, on the condition you mention I'm the author.

I didn't realise you were building this Steve, but it looks very cool in the non-standard colours and some excellent work on the bronze effect, very well done.
I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

I like the colour variation I think it will look very smart jase “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain
