Hello, newbie here.
I decided to start model making and boy do i regret not starting earlier.
Here are my 2 Panthers. Green one is a bit too glossy bcuz too thick base color.
Any suggestions on improving my paint jobs?

Oh come on! Imgur decided to bug out so i cant upload the other one.
But it was a worse paintjob anyway. Just picture this but with Olive basepaint.
Edit: oh wait you can see it in the background a bit.
Wow rocky start on the forums :D

Looks good to me. Though I am not much for complexe paint jobs. I just don't have the knack for it.

You should be able to up load via mobile. I do from my iPhone. There is an "attach" button in the upper right corner of your post that should let you do it.

BigGrin Hi and welcome to the forum and you have done a fine job for your first models, most military vehicles have a matt paint finish so matt paint is recommended for this type of vehicle.

To tone down the shine you could spray with a matt varnish and also you can thin the paint before application to prevent that thick paint look.

Although not an essential item to those just starting out an airbrush to aid painting your models that with practice will give that professional finish your looking for.
