You have got to be kidding. This is ridiculous. Perhaps Admin can confirm or deny this before heated debate begins.

Thats just brilliant. Thanks alot DeAgostini. Screwing around with us once again. I will stick with Hachette from now on. They dont cancel things, (Bismarck, Titanic) at issue 4 & say sorry.

Dear All, We would like to thank you for your enthusiasm and support for Build the HMS Hood. Unfortunately, we have had to suspend publication of the series for the foreseeable future. Whether you have taken out a postal subscription to the publication, or are a customer who purchased through a newsagent, we would like to be able to advise you when the series resumes and send you a copy of issue 5 free of charge. - For newsagent customers, you can register for your free issue 5 when the series resumes by filling in your details on the insert in issue 4 and send it back to us. - For postal subscribers, we have your records on file and when the series resumes you will automatically receive a free issue 5. You will be receiving a notification to this effect from our fulfillment house. As with all partwork’s the product continues to be improved and engineered as part of the launch process. This enables us to produce the best possible product for our customers. On this occasion we need to temporarily suspend Build the HMS Hood and look at improving the product. As soon as we have any information with regard to resuming the series, we will update everyone via the forum on our website, our ModelSpace main site pages and our De Agostini www.deagostini.co.uk main site. So please watch these spaces for updates. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Once again, thank you for your support. Many thanks Admin.

Admin,
Don't you think, under the circumstances, that it would be better to pull the advert from your website advertising the Hood? I know that you want to gauge interest in this model, but i don't think it's fair for people to subscribe to it if you can't deliver the build in full.
As someone who has already subscribed and now cancelled the agreement for this very reason i am probably more than a little biased. But what about others who do not have access to this site and get to issue 4 only to learn their build stalled 'for the foreseeable future'.
Any comments?

I received the first 2 parts last week and today an email welcoming me to "Build The Hood" outlining the supply of future issues and information about the free gifts that come as part of the subscription.
I have requested clarification from DeAgostini as to what is happening.

Hi,
Does anyone know what is happening to this build? It is listed as a featured product on Deags site but I was under impression it was cancelled.
Would like to know as would like to build this.
Thanks in advance.
