Have now started to use imgbb, which is linked in with Facebook, so hoping I am going to be OK, we shall see.
Well fun and games with issues 26 to 29, but the most exciting thing was the projector parts are in these issues, and can be tested
OK first off issue 26

This involved building up the right leg wheel, the locating lugs required are on the smooth side and it is a straight forward fit.

I used the smaller silver screws, the same ones as I had used on fitting the white leg cover

In place

The lower bearing is a lovely fit, doesn't matter what way round it goes.

Then its just a case of putting the wheel on and the bolt, ensuring screw side is down.

And that's all there is to issue 26, next issue 27, and the smile hit my face as its the control board for the projector

The smile faded a little as I was peeling off the protective tape, it was a little sticky and initially I was worried I had broken the fragile ribbon cable, but the pfft I heard was the tape breaking free

. It is probably best to grip the edge of the screen as you remove the tape
So after removing film, you just slide it into place in the holder making sure it's the right way up

Now it is not so clear in the instructions, but the cct board has two sets of holes, one set for the screws and one for the locating lugs of the holder assembly, hopefully the image below makes that clear, don;t go tightening the screws without locating the board first.

Once screwed in it gives a nice fit. All ready for the plug.

That's issue 27 done, and onwards to issue 28 which sees the wheel fixed in place.

This issue also gave us a load more screw, so the pill box is getting more full now.
First off the instructions just repeated the last part of issue 26, so the first thing to do was put on the larger bearing, again excellent quality and a good fit.

The plate went over the top of this, again locating lugs so you can't go wrong, I really cannot stress the simplicity of this.

Again I used the same screws as in issue 26, it seemed right, and looked right, I wasn't about to get a ruler and measure them.

Issue 28 finished, and looking wheelie great

Now onto a bit of eagerly anticipated building, issue 29

3 lenses a light source and the projector holder itself, but I was about to have a few problems, and most was down to this little beggar

The smallest lens - place convex side down into the tube and pushe down until it hits mounting plates (or words to that effect) say instructions, so I carefully get it in place, and flip, drop. It happened 6 or 7 times until finally I came to the conclusion I was going to need a spot of glue or something, as either the holder was a fraction of a mm too big, or the lens too small. so applying the smallest sliver of glue possible, I tried again, this time the lens stayed in place. Then came the acid test (which on ALL other occasions failed - as soon as I moved the holder the lens dropped out!!

) I moved the holder and the lens stayed in place, it was even the right way around. So little tip get some liquid glue and put a bit on the inside of the holder lugs.

Next on the list was the large lens, now as far as I can see it doesn't tell you this, but there is a notch in the lens, and looking at the instruction images, this needs to be at the bottom.

There are also 'lugs' on the lenses, and judging again by the photo's in the instructions, these need to be at the top

The LED light source is next and that goes in the middle of the 3 grooves at the back.

By the time I had clipped the lid on, it can only go one way thankfully, I was just itching to try it.

With the lens barrel in place (and that smallest lens still staying put. I was ready to test.

So I hooked up my test board, pressed S2 and....

YES!!! We have Luke, flickering and moving like a Gif image. So to test for Leia S2 and S1 pressed and.....

Luke????
OK since this have read through the message board and found that it wont show Leia unless I short out some pins.
Did it and YES IT WORKS!! Unfortunately I can't get a picture of it yet, but will try when I have some help to hold the projector at the right angle, short the wires while holding down S2 all at the same time.
Very happy man though and can't wait for issues 30 to 33 as this will be a 1/3 of the way through the build.
If you build it he will come
