Price per piece is actually pretty good, considering mini figures and license. Plus this thing is almost the same size as the DeAg model.

Also this set isn't intended for kids. It's an Ultimate Collectors Edition aimed at adults and extreme collectors.

DeAgostini kit builds:

Millennium Falcon: 18% Complete
Shelby GT-500: 28% Complete
Thunderbird 2: 13.75% Complete

Oh don't worry they have already started. Apparently the old one is very inaccurate and fragile and the comparisons have already started just by the box photo. Throw lego purists into the mix with Star Wars purist and it's a hot bed of complaining 😆.

I am just happen there is a new one for less then a $1k. I sold my old one for $1400 five years ago to buy a house. They are up to $3k at the moment and I will never get they set again.

The DeAg set has the potential to be worth that much as well when you guys finally stop making it.
