G'day ,

Just wondering why on some threads I visit , different amounts of ' posted ' pictures / photos are shown on certain occasions , and not ( accessible / hidden ) on others ? . The written descriptions appear , but the images are in the ' rectangular ' jpeg / images things , where the pictures are supposed to be - sorry not sure of the terminology Blink , and I can't seem to access them .

This occurs whether I'm logged in or not . Any help / explanation appreciated .

Cheers Ged Confused

Hi Ged, there are known problems with images being shown at times on posts and diaries and has been outlined several times in the Errors topics of the forum. Some of the missing pics (directly uploaded to the forum) can be made visible by simply doing page refresh whilst those showing a photobucket warning message is an issue caused by photobucket alone. There is a way of seeing missing photobucket pics which may help members restore their topics/diaries, this can only been seen as a temporary solution and has been outlined here:

Alan,

Any information on the release date of the new forum when all this should be fixed? This is frustrating.

It does seem to be taking it's time, surly the IT must know how far of they are now, even it is approximate. I thought it was close when the request was made to tidy up all our pictures in August.

Considering you can refresh till the cows come home on some posts without it ever displaying all the photos, it's not a workable solution. Also considering there's posts in the Errors section about this issue going back to March 2015, I would say it's not a high priority to get fixed anytime ever. It's a shame, because it ruins the hard work put in by the Official builders, and those who want to share their progress.

Always been planned for later this year but will take as long as it takes as its format has to fit in with all future plans and sites which is a huge task to undertake at great cost.

It is because of that I would have expected detailed budgets and consequently detailed plans for the roll out rather than it being done ad hocly.
