An absolutely gorgeous classic cruise liner.

I cruised on her 3 times in the past.
It was like a 1930's 'Gentlemans club' in the water. Just how you imagine the great ships used to be.

I think Cunard lost a chance when they sold her off.
At the time they needed money to build the new Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria - both stunning ships - but in retrospect, some Cunard 'high-ups' are now saying it should have been refitted, still in the old style, and used only for very high-end cruises - BIG money.

Airfix have a plastic kit of the QE2, but the rear upper decks are all wrong. LOTS of scratch work to remedy.

One of the last British Icons - QE2, Concord, Rolls Royce - all gone from Britain.

There is a plan to return a Concorde to flight by 2019 though I think "by 2019" might be optimistic..
