thanks jim im really pleased with it so far only prob i can see i might have is by the cut out it seems to dip in quite a bit only noticed sice i put on planks 11 & 12

Have fun cal, just finished lining mine...I found it easier to line the left hand side of the ports, then right, (port and starboard) followed by bottoms then tops...took me almost a week, but looks a lot better...Now the lower hull planking...this is where the cursing will start!!... its taken me all afternoon to do the left side of one side of the ports been told to wait until kids in bed b4 staring the lower planking so they dont here me curse lol

thanks mwg im really happy whith how its turning out not looking forward to this next bit tho very steep learing curve for me its my 1st model of this type.......as for pics thanks again ill give that a go

Hi Cal,
Your build is looking very good.
I have just finished the last part of the hull planking and didnt find it too bad.
Although, I didnt stick to the mag to the letter. I figured that that part of the hull is at the bottom, and is either going to be painted or covered in copper. SO, I carried on planking as per the rest of the hull, and just added droppers as required.

here my build to issue 39 the galley supports are only dry fitted so far i im quite happy how the planking has turned out even though i did it with out using the book cal attached the following image(s):
