I'm not a fan of period sailing ships and historic Naval subjects, but I have to say that is a very nice figure in a very nice setting!  
Full marks to the original sculptor for that one.

The Alexandros range certainly have some lovely figures in their range. If you are building Surprise and want to do something in keeping with the film "Master and Commander" this would be another good choice: http://www.alexandrosmod...oyal-naval-captain-1805
