I am following up AGAIN on the Shelby Mustang binders. I just got an email today from the Rep at Model-Space USA and said the binders still are not available in the USA yet!!! It just Don't make sense. What's so strange, is that I received one Shelby binder in one of my subscriptions but yet, I can't buy any I see them for sale here in this thread. So, I am wondering if I can pay in US dollars maybe through Paypal??? Any help is greatly appreciated, Rich

I don't have an answer as to why these aren't available in the US although I am sure it is being worked on. If you are really desperate you could try emailing international shipping internationalshipping@model-space.co.ukYou may find that with postage it might be worth being patient, until they officially go,on sale in the US

The DeAgostini binders are cool and a nice addition to the build experience. However, from a practical point of view, I have opted to use Avery model 06400 legal size binders (8.5" x 14") with a one inch ring. You can fit ten issues per binder which allows you to open up each magazine to any page and it will lay flat for easy reading. Regular binders made for standard (8.5" x 11") items don't work because the magazines are slightly larger and would stick out on the ends. You'll need a 3-hole punch that will penetrate 16 pages also to make things easier. i am also looking for the binders to be available in the us.
it's interesting that the company sells kits that cost over $1,000.00 us, sends 100 "magazines" as part of the kit but does not get the binders ready at the same time.
just sayin.....

just sayin..... They probably have their reasons that we dont understand or even need to know about. Personally I would love it if there was an option for is US subscribers to have a "premium" subscription option that included them. Though honestly I may go the same route Stevie did. The Mustang ones are nice but nothing major. The Falcon ones on the other had I gotta have. DeAgostini kit builds:
Millennium Falcon: 18% Complete Shelby GT-500: 28% Complete Thunderbird 2: 13.75% Complete

If I'm going to spend $1500 total for the Shelby model, It would only make sense to get the cool Shelby binders to match the books and look cool to display with the model.

The Mustang binders will be available shortly in the US, also Jaguar binders will be available at a later point.

Been about a month since I replied here about the Shelby binders..... Ok, I get a binder through UPS yesterday through DeAgostini Publishing from their office in Jackson, Tennessee. I received this binder unknowingly to me because I didn't order it (cause USA buyers can't buy these yet), and I didn't pay for it, but yet, I receive it unknowingly. So, here's my question. If I can receive this Shelby binder from right here in the USA out of the Jackson,TN office, THEN, why can't USA buyers purchase these yet??? LOL, don't make a lot of sense. Comments welcomed, Richie rpmracing18 attached the following image(s):

arpurchase, where is the US forum accessories page? And also if I’m going to spend over $1600 total on the Shelby model, I don’t want to purchase a “generic” binder. I want the Shelby binders. I’m sure you all can understand that. Rich
