hi any ideas on staining the gun port linings just about to fit them and im goin for the natural look and think the linings would look best stained as sum of the photos in the mag (front cover issue 40) cant seem to find any info on the best way to do this nick

You won't be able to stain the linings as they need to be sanded flush with the hull after being fitted which will remove the stain.
Simply replace the lining strips with a dark wood version.
