Catapult build, of which there are two (both are identical), they will be later installed onto their respective bases either side of the aircraft deck already in place.

Build of the crane and mast.

Care needs to be taken with the alignment of the PE framework, the simple jib hook is formed from the wire which is also used to secure the jib to the platform.

Yamato command tower radar & antenna.

The mesh is easiest cut with scissors, the wood block is only used as a shape form for the mesh.

The folding of the PE radar sections need careful thought and method, its a very delicate item until its rectangular internal mesh is added.

The antenna parts are formed from the supplied brass wire, and the top of the command post is drilled for the fit of the support legs.

Secondary gun barrels added and antenna.

The antenna solder joints need to be carefully cleaned up and the antenna set into drilled holes in the turret top.
