Ok - I lied...

It's a little 1/43 I built a while back. I thought I'd post it as little 'uns seem to be popular at the moment.

It was a Renaissance kit and had almost 300 parts. I kid you not.
Incredibly eyeball straining but really good fun.

Roy.

Very nice Roy. ThumpUp

It's certainly not easy to build so neatly in such a small scale, but it's neatness and detail that helps to nurture the illusion of a model being bigger than it actually is? You've done a very good job with that, especially those decals - very well done! ThumpUp

Many, many thanks you guys.
I didn't expect such a response.

It was a fun build but by goodness, it was eyeball-boggling.

I haven't built anything 1/43 for a good few years now. Far too fiddly and with 63 year old eyeballs, little stuff is getting more difficult.

I used to build lots of 1/43 and have a cabinet full of them but not now.

These days, the bigger the better...
I'm even planning a 1/5 250 GTO...

Roy.

Fabulous work Roy, you would think it was a much larger scale until you see the coin next to it. You must have a very good magnifying glass.Love

A very nicely turned out model Roy and at first glNce you would never guess the scale with the amount of detail not just in the car but also in the markings.
Happy Modelling
