Thanks Alan, Phil and Garth!

My wife went visiting her parents along with the kid last weekend - so unexpected i had much time for the Vic!!

I spent this time with producing the forecastle timberheads.
I realized that the number of timberheads in the front row varies looking at the original plans or at pictures of the actual ship.

I went for the look as shown in my books.

Also i gave much thought into the look of the heads of the beakhead main rail - which are more massive and a little bit higher than the other timberheads.

I completed the timberheads at the sides of the forecastle.
The hardest part was to give the rails the right bend to match my bulwark capstrips.

Thanks Alan!

I added the gratings - which i produced according to the original plans using a smaller diameter grating.

I also made the kevels for the forecastle - the front ones have a rounder shape.

Thanks Phil, Mark and Tony!

In the meantime i added the carronades. Unfortunately the two carronades i got didn`t look exactly the same as you can see in my pics.

Regarding the rigging i went with the way Mondfeld recommmends in his book.

That looks very nice indeed.

I especially like the very neat work on getting the canons all roped in and those rope coils look spot on.
