Hi KPnuts i take it your name is Ken mine is brett.. i do not think my bike will match any ones on here... i brought the upgrade bolt kit and upgrade decal kit from the USA as i want to see bolt heads instead of screws. it will be a lot more work as got to tap all the holes as they do not have treads. going to paint mine Italian Red and a few mods like led lights[center][/center

Hi Brett I'm sure yours will be great, yes I bought the tap and drill set for it as well eager to see yours progress too I was hoping to do something similar with the lights but looking at the kit I think that's beyond my capability so more power to your elbow, Maybe I can pinch a few of your ideas 're the lighting. I'm sure you will enjoy it here they're a good bunch of people on here and very knowledgeable and ready to share that knowledge too. Ken's the name modeling's the game.

Well we've been away for the weekend at our friends caravan and I came back to a bit of a disaster All the plastic parts are fine I couldn't work out what had gone wrong but now I have No primer, I assume the plastic parts were primed hence they are ok. I've removed the paint (Another chance to see how big this is its nearly as long as my thigh) Now I just have to 're prime it, I'm just wondering if I have enough of the blue left this thing is so big it took nearly a whole can to paint it(admittedly I did both sides of all the parts as I was not sure if the back of any parts could be seen) hopefully no more problems will occur. Ken's the name modeling's the game.

Feel for you Ken. How odd though that this problem did not show up earlier ie when the paint was still wet. Glad you have got the part all clean up though. Hope your next coating goes on without issue. Happy Modelling

Hi Ken. I think you may have forgotten to mention that you really love that colour (you will all miss me when i'm gone ). It is a lovely colour i must agree. There seems to be a slight sparkle in the blue? Really pleased to see you got that tank back on course. Really felt for you knowing what this kit costs. Last thing you need are paint issues. Glad to see you had enough paint left to complete this but that does mean No scratches on the car Hope the rest of your build goes well. Happy Modelling
