Is it just me, or does everyone else log in compulsively every day to see if the build diary has been updated, even though you're nowhere near that stage of the build BigGrin

I think that is what modelling is all about -looking ahead to see what you get and what you need to do.

I have just put down the top deck parts on my constitution which still need planking. I have the part 3 parts available but i have been looking at the ongoing instructions to see what lies ahead.

Happy Modelling

Haha, yes I do that as well. But I suspect your post is a very subtle way to point out that it hasn't been updated now for nearly 2 months, so surely must be due soon?

There is no timeframe of being posted up other than it should always be ahead of the weekly Newsagent rollout which it is.

I check about once a day, being in the US I'm way behind but I would love to see how it goes together after the dome hits. I would think that a good chunk of the next 8 issues would be about putting the electronics in the dome and getting it ready to put on the soon to come body.

is that all for now then, or is there more?

nice to see some serious circuit boards appearing! cant wait for it all to start coming together over the next year!

whats the little plastic piece that goes under the IR board for? seems a bit of an after thought having to dismantle to put that in, when it could have come at the time

BigGrin Greedy boys generally get sent to the back of the queueLOL Flapper LOL and with 6 weeks worth of updates thats more than enough to get on with for now.

As for the spacer it merely gets the sensor to its optimum position so it will work correctly, nothing more nothing less.LOL Cool

i was just curious if any more was going up with you updating tuesday/wednesday and tomic mentioned wednesday/thursday. looking forward to the next few months!

ok, so there will be one to go under the other IR sensor too then? ill probably hold off assembly of that until it comes then, as im not keen on having to undo self tappers, they never seem to grip as well the 2nd time. how come its been supplied after the assembly? was a problem found?

Still anxiously waiting for the dome to arrive , before I make a start , got a big pile of bags in the corner waiting to be assembled ... although am I the only one getting a bit concerned that we may just end up with two legs and a head ?
