hi everyone could someone please advise me on this issue ive come across ive got the 1st 4 rows of planks done but already theres quite a big gap between each sides & the center of the ship both sets of planks are the same thinkness

Dont worry about this to much, the best way i found was to tapper the planks on one side in a gradual fashion so that the planking ends up to be the same amount of planking for each side. If you have any problems have a look at past posts and im sure there is information regarding this common problem. Keep up the good work. Builds in progress: HMS Victory.HMS Surprise. cheers petpole & darron looking at the diagram looks like ive not taperd the planks enough so looking like ill have to lock myself away my next day off remove them & start again thx again cal

Hi Cal, It looks pretty good to me. You are only about 1 plank different and you can correct this as you go by tapering a little more on the wide side and it will not be noticeable when all the others are fitted. Laury
