You must not have sat thru the Holiday Special! LOL
I found it on youtube. My goodness what a total pile of garbage that was.The kids watching it must have wondering what on earth was going on. Carl And we didn't have a choice back then... it was the only thing on! It was either watch that piece of garbage or go to bed early. You only had 5 channels on TV back then... no cable, no VCRs, no internet... just rabbit ears or an antenna hooked to the side of the house. So of course, no kid in their right mind would ever want to go to bed early, opted to stay up and watch it... the only good thing to come out of it was Boba Fett... but I was scarred for life seeing the virtual stripper grandpa was watching on the VR set!

Well it's Monday, and we all know what that means... it's TRIVIA TIME! That's right... This week is gonna be a good one... I will be highly surprised if anyone gets this one! :) Getting tougher and tougher to come up with questions to stump you all especially those who have been around from the beginning! But here's your chance to shine! It's not a well known piece of trivia here and the answer can be found in the behind the scenes interviews with Lucas himself. But, just remember the rules... no cheating for the answer by doing a google search! You can watch the movies and DVDs but that's the only help you can get here! So without further ado... here we go! Question 63: In the earliest outlines for the sequel, what was Yoda originally called?Answer:
Buffy - In Lucas’ original draft for the film, the creature we lovingly know as Yoda was in fact named Buffy. Lucas describes the character as “Buffy very old – three or four thousand years. Kyber crystal in sword? Buffy shows Luke? Buffy the guardian. Feel not think.’”

Well it's that time of the week again and you all know what that means by now... that's right it's TRIVIA TIME! This week should be another toughie! Remember... no cheating by using the internet to find your answers... but you can go back over the videos or actually read the books. We're all talking about a movie that's been out for 40 years here people... something that has seeped into every nook and cranny of our culture. If you can't do the leg work without the internet you're not a fan in my opinion! LOL So without further ado... here's this week's brain stumper! Question 64: What does the name "Yoda" mean?Answer:
Fans have been pondering this question for decades... Although the actual spelling really doesn't mean anything because it's just a name that George Lucas came up with, it is speculated that that name may be from the Sanskrit word "Yoddha" which means warrior or the Hebrew name "Yodea" meaning "One who knows." But, in an interview with Lucas he mentioned he took the name from a derivitive of Sanskirt, meaning "WARRIOR". Good thing he didn't stick with Buffy eh?

Well it's Monday and you all know what that means... It's time for a new Trivia Question! I'll try to make it a bit easier on you guys this week... just remember, no cheating by googling your answers! Anyone can do that, but a true fan will be able to answer from their love of Star Wars! So... here we go! Question 65: What was the original title for Return of the Jedi? Answer:
Revenge of the Jedi - According to screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan -- who not only wrote the screenplays for The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, but also for The Force Awakens and the upcoming Han Solo film -- he convinced George Lucas to change Episode VI's title from Return of the Jedi to Revenge of the Jedi, because "Return" sounded too weak. So Lucas did, and the title can even be seen in the film's first teaser trailer. However, later on, Lucas changed the title back to "Return" because he felt the term "revenge" wasn't appropriate for Jedi, for Jedi don't seek revenge. But the Sith do, which is why Episode III is subtitled Revenge of the Sith.

it was revenge of the Jedi.If you can find the movie poster printed it is worth quite a bit of money. There was a Blue Peter interview with Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher and they talked about the film there and called it "revenge" of the Jedi. Lucas said in an interview they changed the title because Jedi dont take revenge. Here is the Blue Peter clip.Mark says the name of the move at 4:24. Not too bad seeing Sarah Greene again either https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LL2fJR4lH2Q

Hey all... hope you all enjoyed your extended holiday weekend! This week shouldn't be too difficult, but I will be grading on spelling! Muahahahhahaaha... you all know the rules... no cheating by using the internet for your answers. First one to answer correctly wins bragging rights. So without further ado... here's this week's question... Question 66: Cloud City is a mining colony... what does it mine?Answer:
Tibanna Gas - Of all the locations in the original Star Wars trilogy, perhaps the place most people would choose to live would be Cloud City, located in the Bespin system, part of the Anoat sector. It's not just any kind of city, though; it's actually a mining colony. They mine Tibanna gas, a substance used in various starship weaponry, starship hyperdrives, and as a coolant in repulsor lifts. It's also the same gas Luke Skywalker sprays Darth Vader with during their duel in The Empire Strikes Back.
First Correct Answer: Nytetrain (spelling counted this time around)
