This will be my next project once my bench is clear of a couple of builds LOL
I first built this kit in the 1980's and I still have the finished model stored somewhere although I recall it being in a sorry looking state due to a few mishaps and several house moves over the years.

Here's a look at the kit.

Looks an interesting model.

As a real bike when would this have been out. It looks slightly vintage with the very angular cowling. Is it a '70's bike?

Hope it all goes together well for you.
Happy Modelling

The Z1300 was a six cylinder water-cooled Kawasaki classic that was ahead of its time when released in 1979, was sold in two versions, naked and the Z1300B faired version. It’s up there with the other classics such as the Honda CB1100R and Suzuki GSX1100 Katana.

Finally got around to starting this kit. Done a couple of sub assemblies to assist in the frame construction.

The first pic shows the headstock and part of the frame, the 3 coils on there mounting frame, battery tray on a frame crossmember and the fusebox also on a frame crossmember.

The second pic shows these sub assemblies now attached to the main frame halves together with 3 more crossmembers.

The third pic shows the assembly after a coat of primer.

Thanks for looking

Got a little more done on the frame by adding the mainstand and splashguard also assembled the airbox and cylinder head and gave them a spray with primer. Seeing as I was going to spray those I thought I may as well do the bodywork, wheels, top box and panniers at the same timeLOL

Thanks for looking
