Happy Monday all you happy campers out there! It's the beginning of a new week and we all know what that means right? It's time for a new Trivia Question! That's right... time to put on your thinking caps and turn off your search engines, fire up your DVD of the movies and show off your knowledge of the greatest franchise in the history of entertainment! You know the rules... no cheating by looking up the answers online... take your best guess first and make a post, then look it up and see if you were right, but don't post the answer to spoil it for everyone... test yourself and see just how much you really know. Ok... so here we go and remember, SPELLING COUNTS (and no you can't cheat by using the google dictionary either!) The first person to correctly answer the question wins the week! So without further ado... here we go...

Question 67:
From which planet is Han Solo?

First Correct Answer: Metal Mech

Ha I know this one. His is from Corellia. Same place the Falcon was built. I always liked this bit of trivia. I always figured it’s why he knows that type ship so well.

Well... it's that time of the week again... the one you are all excited about and sit behind your monitors, hitting the refresh button on your browser, hoping to see that one glimmer of hope that will make your day begin with a smile and puzzled look on your face as you strain your brain cells trying to remember what all these years of being a Star Wars fan has been. So... since the last few questions have been so easy, I think I'll throw a monkey wrench into the works and make ya work for this one! You can find the answer in only one source, and it's on the original VHS tape before the special editions came out. They actually had a Behind the Scenes feature after the movie if you troubled yourself to sit thru the credits back then... so I'll be surprised if anyone gets this one quickly! Remember, no cheating by doing an online search for the answers... you can always go back and watch the movies, but anyone can use google! So... if you're ready for this one... here we go...

Question 68:
What still-canonical character is often incorrectly identified as being related to Jedi Master Yoda, despite never actually being referenced in the films, books, and animated shows as being from the same species?

Answer:

First Correct Answer: NONE

Morning all you happy Starwarsians out there!  I hope everyone had a fun filled Last Jedi weekend!  I know I did!  With the new movie just released last weekend I won't ruin any of it for you, but just say I really enjoyed it!  With that being said, I think this next question will fit right in with the premiere and make you think back to how all this started!  Remember, no cheating by using the internet to find your answers... if you're a REAL FAN you should already know the answers.  Matter of fact, I think that many of the questions I've asked of you are mandatory questions that must be answered correctly in order to get into the Lucasfilm vault on the Skywalker Ranch!  So... without further ado... here's your question this week...

Question 69:
Star Wars was released in May 1977. How many types of Star Wars action figures were on toy store shelves at Christmastime 1977?

Answer:

First Correct Answer: MetalMech

I figured I would throw you all an easy one seeing as Christmas is only 5 days away... Way to go MM! Answer is posted with the question! I will attempt to post a new question Monday, but seeing as it's Christmas Day, I may be delayed until Tuesday... I hope you all will forgive me! Besides, it will give you all a chance to see the new Last Jedi movie to prepare yourselves to Ep8 trivia questions I may throw at you, muhahahahahahahaha! Merry Christmas to everyone and may the force be with you, always!

So for Christmas, 1977, kids got empty boxes with coupons they could mail in for a set of figures when they became available in spring, 1978.

I never knew that!

Well done MM!

One of my favorite bits of trivia. I love how the studios had no faith in the product and Lucas got all rights to merchandise. Which is now he made most of his fortune.
