BigGrin Bit more done,

The cockpit surround was painted up and fitted then the two guns have been made up, painted and placed on the fuselage.

I then laminated the eight 1mm wood pieces that will form the propellor when carved and shaped. Lastly construction of the upper wing is forging ahead.

More soon.

BigGrin Hi All

More done, the upper wing was finished off by adding the leading edges and the tapes then the two ailerons were made up and placed in position.

The upper outriggers were added to the middle wing making sure they were squared off and then the upper wing was placed in position and glued in place. Next the outrigger clamps were added to the wings and the pulleys for the aileron controls made up and glued into there wing positions.

The next job was to connect the control wires to the ailerons by feeding the wires through the pulleys ect and trying them off. Lastly the central forward rigging wires were tied off to the top of the central wing supports.

A/L provide a jig to aid in making up the lower wing that holds the wheels in place, the assembly is then covered in etch sheet and attached to the fuselage assembly. The next part added was the etch sheet that fits underneath the front fuselage. Lastly I painted up and fitted the tail skid in position next job is the bungee cords for the axle and tail skid.

More soon.
