While I'm here on my build thread, I have a question for some of you that are building or have built the Shelby. Or, can give me your input to this problem I am up against.
I took my grille out of the grille opening to paint it black and had to take my in-board headlights out. Well, I figured I'd have trouble and I did, the very small headlight little metal "grille grippers" that hold the headlight in, has broken off. All 4 of them broke off and now I'm trying to find a way to probably glue it in with a modelers glue, crazy glue or epoxy glue or some sort of glue.
Can anyone give me some input on what they would do?
Thanks Rich

Heres the area in question highlighted in color. The very small metal headlight "grippers" broke away and I have nothing to hold the headlight in now. I'm thinking about trying epoxy? Any input is greatly appreciated, Rich rpmracing18 attached the following image(s):

Coming along nicely I would use some thick superglue to hold the light into the grill.

Looking good Rich and making nice progress, well done.
Regards a suitable glue for your grille light problem, I would suggest trying 'G-S Hypo Cement' which is a clear glue used by jewellers for gluing gems into jewellery, watchmakers and in industrial optics. It comes in a tube with a precision applicator, dries crystal clear and is very strong, it can be cleaned up with Isopropyl Alcohol.
.... or ....
There is a glue called 'Formula 560' which is a canopy glue used by R/C aircraft modellers, and which looks milky white but cures clear and can be easily cleaned up with water, again it's strong enough for what you want to do but doesn't come with any kind of applicator (use a cocktail stick)?
I regularly use both myself and both are easily available on Ebay. Hope that helps?

Thanks all for the replies about glue. I used an epoxy that I mixed to activate it. I have used it before with great results. I haven't used it in a while and just forgot about it before I posted. It seems to be doing great. Again Thanks and can't wait to my next Shelby installment Rich

DeAgostini Shelby issues #57- #60 complete. I had a little delimma with the heater box screws. I couldn't get my mini screwdriver in to tighten the screws, so I epoxied the box in place (see last photo). The screwdriver was too much on an angle. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for looking, Richie rpmracing18 attached the following image(s):
