Hi friends and model makers While visiting the AL shop again I found that they sell a set of micro saws which I thought might be useful in building the Hermione La fayette. So I purchased a set although not quite sure where or how I will use them although included with the 6 different saws, is a scriber and 2 CA glue applicators which will come in very useful indeed. Anyway for those who are interested, I've included some photos for your perusal. Happy building Daviddaffy09 attached the following image(s):

Thanks for posting...I could have done with the saw blade the other day and landed up spending ages trying to transform a small hacksaw blade which did not exactly do the job that I wanted properly. Definitely get myself a set of them!! Cheers!! Current Builds: Deagostini HMS Victory: Deagostini HMS Sovereign of the seas. Completed Builds: Del Prado: HMAS Bounty: Hachette: RMS Titanic: Del Prado: Cutty Sark...

David Thanks for pisting this one. You can get numerous photo etched saw blade sets but this one is really good having the scriber and 2 ca glue applicators. So it covers off a range of requirements all in the one set. Just ordered up this one for myself as i can see its going to be useful. Happy Modelling

Afternoon everyone. Birdaj2: Thanks for posting that link for tigerace (Phil), I've only just turned my PC on (1.30 PM), so Only now looking at replies. Glad everyone has found this post useful. I myself purchased a new set of handles from eBay to go with them (as seen in photos), so each one is ready for use when I need them, rather than having to keep swapping blades as required. Happy building David

David It was a really useful post a i was looking recently at getting one of those ca glue applicators from flexifile along with a set of etch saw blades and tgat would have cost me a whole lot more than this set did so thanks again. There is always something new coming out that its near on impossible to keep up with it all so always good when someone else tracks down something like this and shares the info. I like the look of those handles as well (mostly the colours). Spotted them on ebay but wondering if i shouldbe spending any more at the moment Happy Modelling

Well it looks like my "shop on ebay" was in fact amazon. I ordered yesterday and they turned up this morning (incredible). Guess my additional £3 over the price John found direct on amazon must have been an included postage cost Happy Modelling
