The 1/32 Revell Warthog can probably claim a first, in that it is almost certainly the first science fiction kit based on a computer game - Halo - rather than a movie, TV series, comic or book.

There's a actually some Model Earth kits of the Normandy 1&2 from Mass Effect, but those are just some bendy metal models. I was always surprised there were not more kits coming out for the Mass Effect franchise, especially considering the main character had the hobby of building shaceship models.

There are some Japanese kits that are video game based but is only avalible in Japan.

This one has global appeal.
