Phil A wood deck as well - now that really will look nice and will contrast very nicely with the wartime grey paint shades. Happy Modelling

I thought that instead of painting the kit supplied brass etch in a wood coloured paint, why not use the real thing? As I mentioned in a reply to Alan, I was initially going to paint the kit supplied brass etch in a wood coloured paint. You can't beat the real thing though! There will be other genuine wooden parts fitted, namely the lockers in the compartments and also seating around the conning tower. Regards, Phil W.
