Its the same over here.They dropped the price by 50%.There is a store over here callEd Brookstone that has the Sphero products on demo.It is amazing that such a small droid can transition from 2 footed to 3 footed.However, just as with the full size R2 D2s, he is quite unstable when transitioning and falls over a lot.if you look at the full size r2 D2 build logs there are lots of sad posts about guys spending $18K building full size R2s that transition only to have them fall over and damage themselves the first time they go from 3 leg to 2 legs.

And that's why I'm perfectly happy this build does not transition. Yeah it would be cool but it would be more complicated and difficult to fit in the half scale. Better to have to doors, arms, and gadgets imho.
